From the Barber Shop and Shoe Shine Memories licensed collection this Hair Vintage Metal Sign measures 14 inches by 8 inches and weighs in at 1 lb(s). Lighted flashing signs were the rage to get the word out to everyone on a new style. This sign was originally a rare opaque backlit sign. In 1915 Irene Castle started the Hair Bobbing rage known as the “Castle Bob”. It was a crazy shift… since long luxurious hair was the style to die for since the onset of ladies fashions! But the hair style helped the roaring twenty era Flappers have more time for fun! This Vintage Metal Sign is hand made in the USA using heavy gauge American steel.
