All American Art by Larry Grossman

Born in Los Angeles, Larry Grossman began his art career at age sixteen in the mid '60's airbrushing T-shirts at Hot Rod Shows for George Barris. Since that time he has worked both "in-house" and freelance for studios such as Disney (on the film TRON), Warner Bros., and Dreamworks, creating many memorable logos and posters along the way. He has also created album covers for musicians such as Frank Zappa, and T-shirt designs and posters for IN-N-OUT Burger and Bob's Big Boy.

In the early ’90’s he traded his airbrush for a computer, with the results being his unique digital art (which incorporates strictly his own photos). Through his company Retrovisions Larry has published his own posters, and also creates custom tailored art for customers. His art is also sold internationally and licensed for a wide range of products. Larry's work is also on display at such prestigious locations as the Petersen Automotive Museum, The Nat'l Hot Rod (NHRA) Museum, the Gene Autry Western Museum, and the Museum of Neon Art. Coming full circle, Larry recently created the cover art for the final book on his old pal George Barris.
